Longarm Services

We are currently over-booked for longarm services.

If you would like your quilt added to our waiting list, please be aware it could take 6 to 12 months for us to reach your name. Unfortunately, our waiting list really is that long at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience and understand if you have to take your quilt elsewhere.

Pantograph Quilting

Pantograph quilting is edge-to-edge quilting in a chosen design.

Designs can be selected from our catalogue which is available to view in-store.

Pantograph quilting is our most cost-effective option at $0.025 - $0.03 per square inch depending on the density & difficulty of the chosen design.

Custom Quilting

Custom quilting is customized to go around or work with the blocks and designs of your quilt. Designs are not available to view ahead as it is determined at the time of quilting, based on your quilt, but we do like to work with you to determine these designs. If you would like a specific design please come with pictures.

Custom quilting can range from $0.05 - $0.10 for common designs, or higher for intricate heirloom designs.

Notes About Quilt Tops

To prepare your quilt top for longarming please take the following steps: trim threads on the back so they don't show through light fabrics, inspect your quilt for any seams coming undone & repair them if necessary, give your quilt top a thorough pressing with steam, and stay-stitch less than a ¼" around the edge of your quilt to keep the outer edge from stretching.

Taking the time to do these small tasks will ensure you will have a top-quality finished quilt.

Notes About Backings

Please make sure your backing is at least 4 inches larger than your quilt on the sides and 6 inches longer on the top and bottom. (For example: if your quilt measures 50" x 70", your backing should be 58" x 82" or larger.) Please do not cut the selvedge off your backings unless required to for piecing them together. If piecing your backing, it is preferred that the seam run horizontally across your quilt (side-to-side).

We recommend washing your backing ahead and running it through the dryer on medium to high heat so any shrinkage can happen before its on your quilt. Whether you do this or not, please come with your backing pre-ironed.
